"Now is the time to confront underlying tensions or past hurts, paving the way for healing. Honest conversations will lead to greater transparency and trust."
Spring equinox – seeking balance and harmonyAs September unfolds, the days become longer, the weather warmer, and spring is in the air. Birds are mating and building nests, gardens are blossoming, there’s a lightness of heart, and a growing feeling of optimism. On 23rd September we celebrate the spring equinox when day and night are of equal length and the sun moves into air sign Libra.

Libra, whose symbol is the scales, is all about balance – twelve hours of daylight and twelve hours of darkness – a moment of perfect equilibrium all over the world. The spring equinox is a time when we seek balance and renewal in our personal lives, release stagnant energy, and make a fresh start. No wonder so many of us change our diet, start a fitness regime, and feel like spring cleaning the house and garden at this time of year.

The equinox also encourages reflection on the balance within partnerships – whether emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual. This emphasis on balance can inspire us to give and receive love more equally, strengthen our connections, and seek a renewed sense of harmony. September is a time for deepening bonds, setting new relationship goals, or simply appreciating those around us.

The spring equinox can also bring clarity about needs and desires in relationships, leading to more authentic friendships and partnerships, healthier family bonds, and the desire to seek out those who understand and align with our true nature.
Pisces lunar eclipse – deepening emotional connectionOn 18th September, just days before the spring equinox, we have a partial lunar eclipse at the Pisces full moon. Pisces, a water sign known for her dreamy nature, sensitivity, and empathy, brings her own special qualities to the eclipse period.
Heightened emotions and intuition:The Piscean lunar energy amplifies feelings, making it easier to connect on an emotional level. Empathy and understanding increase, allowing us to navigate conflicts with greater compassion and insight. Intuition is heightened and we can sense each other’s needs and desires.
Hidden issues revealedLunar eclipses often act as catalysts for change and revelation. In Pisces, this can mean bringing hidden emotions or unresolved issues to light. Now is the time to confront underlying tensions or past hurts, paving the way for healing. Honest conversations will lead to greater transparency and trust.
Idealisation and boundariesWhile Pisces fosters idealism and romanticism, it can also blur boundaries, leading to misunderstandings or unrealistic expectations. Maintain clear communication in all areas of your life, and set healthy boundaries to prevent potential conflict. And if you know someone or something is not good for you, stay away!
Transformation and renewalEclipses often mark endings and new beginnings. You may decide to deepen your commitment to a person or project, redefine your relationship goals, or even start out on a completely new path. A lunar eclipse in Pisces can inspire emotional healing and readiness to form more heartfelt connections in all areas of life.
Spiritual and creative growthUse the eclipse energy to deepen your connection to spirit and enhance your creativity. Meditation, dreamwork, and solitude will provide answers and inspiration.
Summary The lunar eclipse in Pisces is a potent time for emotional depth, healing, and transformation. By embracing Piscean intuition, creativity, and compassion, we can cultivate more meaningful and resilient connections.
Venus in Libra – giving and receiving love Relationship planet Venus will be in her home sign Libra from 29th August to 23rd September. Libra is the number one zodiac sign of love and relationship, meaning the Venus in Libra period is an excellent time for friendship, romance, and connection. We are all more inclined to show mutual respect and understanding, resolve conflict, give and receive love, and practice cooperation.

Venus in Libra also puts the focus on beauty, charm, equality, and shared experience. Use the spring energy coupled with Venus in Libra to spruce up your appearance, beautify your home, and get in touch with those special folk you haven’t seen for ages.
